Joker Goes Wild Slot Review
Enjoy some manic mediaeval mayhem in Joker Goes Wild. Created by Skywind, it’s a 5 reel, 15 payline slot. Smartly designed, the highlights are the joker symbols that appear on reel 1 that can convert lower value symbols into wilds or multiplier wilds which can boost payouts by up to 5x. Play this high variance slot on all devices from between 15p and £300 per spin. Find out more at Tony88 Malaysia Online Slots.
The design in Joker Goes Wild is excellent. A mediaeval town forms the backdrop to the reels. There you’ll find heart, diamond, club and spade symbols alongside juggling clubs, masks, hats and drums. The king and queen symbols are the most rewarding. They both pay 2, 5 or 26.66 x stake if you land 3, 4 or 5 on a payline.
Supplementing the standard symbols is a standard wild. This performs all the usual substitution functions as well as paying 3.33, 10 or 66.66 x stake if you land 3, 4 or 5 across any payline.
Appearing on reel 1 only is the Joker. This symbol is wild and replaces all the standard symbols. If there are any heart, diamond, club or spade symbols on display anywhere on the reels, these are converted into wilds. A payout calculation is then made. This is called the Extra Wilds feature which also applies below.
Also appearing on reel 1 only is the Golden Joker. This delivers the same royal to wild upgrades as the standard joker. These new wilds come with multiplier attached too. If they go on to form part of a winning combination, the payouts is boosted by 2x, 3x, 4x or even 5x.
Joker Goes Wild is a simple slot. There aren’t any free spins but the Joker and Golden Joker can deliver some explosive action if there are plenty of playing card suit symbols to transform into wilds – you can win up to 1,000 x stake on each spin. Add in the potential 5x wild multiplier and the max payout can reach 5,000 x stake per spin.
However, this is a volatile slot and the variance is very high. The lack of features means this won’t be for everyone. We rather liked it though. The cartoon visuals are terrific, backed by a jaunty soundtrack. The gameplay is basic but if the Jokers work their magic, you could be laughing.
